1. General Conduct
We will behave in a professional and ethical manner at all times. Our cars are fitted with dual controls and are fully insured for training purposes. Our cars are a smoke free zone and are kept clean and tidy at all times (weather permitting).
2. Qualifications
We are fully authorised by the DVSA to provide paid driving tuition in the UK.
3. Driving Licence and eyesight
We will ensure your eyesight meets the legal required limit before any lessons commence. You will need to read a number plate a distance of 26.5 metres. We will also need to check your driving licence is valid before lessons commence.
4. Safety and well being
Safety is a shared responsibility. We will endeavour to keep you safe at all times. However, it is important you follow all of the instructions we give and take an active role in keeping yourself safe. Please ensure you wear appropriate footwear and ensure you feel fit and well for a lesson. The lesson will not commence if we believe you are not able to. If we suspect you are attempting a lesson under the influence of drink or drugs, the lesson will be cancelled at your expense and actions to cancel future lessons could be taken.
5. Lesson postponement and cancellation
If you need to postpone or cancel a lesson within 24 hours of the agreed lesson, We will charge for the lesson. If enough notice is given, we are happy to accommodate changes to your/our diary. If continuous cancellations occur, you may be removed from our student list to accommodate a new student.
6. Payments
All lessons require payment no later than 48 hours before lesson begins. Flexible payment options are available, please ask for details. We operate a non-cash business; bank transfer and card payments are gratefully accepted.
7. The Driving Test
Driving tests always take priority over other lessons. Therefore, your lesson may be postponed to allow for someone else’s driving test and vice versa. We reserve the right to refuse use of our training vehicles for a test if your driving is potentially dangerous to other road users.
8. Your Statutory rights
Nothing in these terms and conditions will reduce your statutory rights relating to faulty goods or services provided. We have a statutory obligation to provide you with goods and services fit for the purpose for which they were bought and as described. If you have any doubts about your statutory rights please contact your local Trading Standards Department or Citizens Advice Bureau.
